Mum was a women who knew her path in life.

She went about it with incredible enthusiasm. 

Infectious smile, the purest heart,  Mum cared,  from the depth of her heart.

Her trust and faith in life unquestionable..

Ruthie won hearts instantly. 

The many loved friends from childhood days,  Nursing friends,  the Wellington’s Bay Girls,       

(many stories could be told), 

Choir Group, Tramping Club,  Roaring 40’s,  family friends, Hospice friends,

all cherished…

as my Mother, I could not have wished for more,

true friendship,

any conversation could be had.

Side by side, through life’s ups and downs, always there for each other.

Mum said to me just a few days before she passed away,

“Chrystal, I dont think we can win this one now”…

Mum knew that when the rain came it was her time, “tears from heaven darling” she said to me,

it rained and it rained…

I hear her profound wisdom now through the birds in the trees, the sunsets,

and the gentle breeze that gathers around.

Mum beleived in remaining positive about life, about starting fresh each day.

Thank You Mum for sharing so much of yourself and your life with us all.
